Welcome to Compozz (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform” or “the Service”). These General Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “GCU”) define the conditions under which you may access and use our Platform. By browsing our website or using our services, you fully and unreservedly accept these GCU.
Compozz is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution that allows you to structure, enrich, and leverage data from businesses of all kinds. Our Platform provides tools and features to facilitate data management and analysis.
Access to Compozz is restricted to authorized users who have created an account. The user declares that they have the legal age required in their country and have the legal capacity to enter into these GCU. The user agrees to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and not to use Compozz for any illegal or prohibited purposes.
By using Compozz, the user acknowledges that they are responsible for managing any data they upload and store on the Platform. Compozz cannot be held liable for the data made available by the user, its accuracy, or any consequences related to its use. The user is solely responsible for the accuracy, relevance, and lawfulness of the data they enter or upload to the Platform. Any fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized use of the Platform may result in the suspension or termination of your account, without prior notice and without refund.
Under no circumstances shall Compozz be held liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising directly or indirectly from the use of data stored in Compozz. This includes financial losses, decision-making errors, lost opportunities, or any other negative consequences resulting from decisions made based on the information provided by Compozz.
For users located in the United States and Canada, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Compozz and its affiliates provide the Platform on an “as is” basis without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Compozz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.
The data stored and managed on the Compozz Platform remains the exclusive property of the user. Compozz does not claim any ownership rights over the user’s data. The user retains full responsibility for the management, integrity, and security of the data they upload to the Platform. Compozz is committed to protecting the user’s data in accordance with its privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. Compozz shall not use the user’s data for any commercial purpose or for any purposes other than those necessary for the proper operation of the Platform and the performance of the offered services. Under no circumstances shall Compozz sell, share, or otherwise exploit the user’s data for commercial purposes without explicit consent. Any use of the user’s data is strictly limited to providing the service and fulfilling the contractual obligations.
Compozz ensures the protection of your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended (“Informatique et Libertés”). As the data controller, Compozz collects and processes certain data necessary for managing your account and billing. When you use the Platform’s features to import or process personal data from third parties, you also act as a data controller and must comply with the applicable legal obligations.
The data is processed to enable the performance of the Service, the improvement of our features, and billing. The processing is based on the performance of the contract (access and billing), any consent for certain marketing operations, and Compozz’s legitimate interest (maintenance and security). Your information may be shared with subcontractors (hosting providers, technical service providers) under GDPR-compliant contracts. If transfers outside the European Union are necessary, Compozz ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place. Data is retained only for as long as is strictly necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, which you can exercise by contacting us at contact@compozz.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL if the issue remains unresolved. For more details (particularly on retention periods or data transfers), please refer to our Privacy Policy, which is part of these GCU.
Compozz reserves the right to modify these GCU at any time. You will be informed of any changes by a message on the Platform or by email. The changes will take effect on the date they are published. If you continue to use the Platform after that date, you accept the new GCU.
The user may terminate their account at any time by contacting customer service or through their account settings. In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these GCU (fraud, non-payment, abusive use), Compozz may suspend or terminate access to the Platform immediately and without notice. Upon termination, access to your account will be removed. In accordance with applicable legal provisions, Compozz may retain certain data for evidentiary purposes or to fulfill its legal obligations.
These GCU are governed by French law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation and/or execution shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the district where Compozz’s registered office is located, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
